What is Cargo:-

The goods or merchandise conveyed in a ship, airplane, or vehicle: freight Dock workers were unloading the ship's cargo.

                                          General Cargo:-

•     General cargo is unitized (carried in defined load units) while bulk cargo is loose (carried in any quantity). General cargo can be sub-divided into three categories: Break Bulk. Concern cargo that is carried in drums, bags, pallets, or boxes.

                                      Special Cargo:-

         •      Special cargo means cargo which requires special procedures for 

               acceptance, handling and loading.

                                      Dangerous Cargo:-

              •    A dangerous good (also known as hazardous material or hazmat)

                 is any substance or material that is capable of posing 

                 an unreasonable risk to health, safety, and property when 

                 transported in commerce.
