Flight Record

On behalf of the carrier, maintain a system for the management and control of operation record.

The outgoing flight related operational records to be maintained by the Cargo Handling Agent must include.


  • The flight manifest for all station e-route or a NIL manifest if no cargo or mail is loaded
  • A copy of every Shippers Declaration
  • A copy of every acceptance checklist for Dangerous Goods
  • A copy of any other shipment acceptance check list
  • NOTOC
  • Air waybill copy and Mail or CN copy
  • Records of scale weights of outgoing ULD'S or BULK
  • Transfer manifest, for cargo transferred by another carrier
  • Information about offloaded/short shipped cargo.
  • Other relevant documents related to the flight.

ULD TAG
Prepare ULD tag for individual units with the following information.


a)     Container or pallet number

b)     Machine readable ID codes

c)      Destination

d)     Net weight, tare weight and total weight

e)     Position on aircraft

f)      Special handling codes and dangerous goods classes and divisions (as applicable)

g)      Transfer information where necessary

h)     Remarks

Red with white symbol of a glass and printing.


6) Live animals

Bright green animal figures on light background.


7) Laboratory animal

Similar animal figures with additional text.



8) Dangerous goods Hazard and Handling labels

Shipment containing dangerous goods must be marked and labelled according to IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.







Operational Area and work Responsibilities

1-Acceptance Area:

  • Once booking is confirmed with Airlines, forwarders (IATA AGENT) bringing their cargo at cargo terminal.
  • Check if Booking information Matches with the Actual Freight

          Acceptance staff must be check below requirement while accepting cargo

  • Flight booking in system
  • Labeling as per Commodity( G/CGO,DGR, AVI, PER, VAL, Express, HUM)
  • Cargo must be in good condition
  • Dimensions of cargo must be check
  • Shipments " ready for carriage"
  • Airway bill number and HAWB number if CONSOL
  • Shipper name and address
  • Consignee name and address
  • Agent name
  • Final destination and routing
  • No of pieces, Total gross weight, Nature of goods
  • Priority codes as per Nature of goods
  • And other supportive documents as per requirement by Airline/Station
  • The regulations for the carriage of special cargo, particularly the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) IATA Live Animal regulations (LAR), And others have been complied with. 
  • After acceptance cargo must be keep in allocated area as per Nature of goods(G/CGO, PER, DGR, LIVE ANIMAL,VAL)
  • If cargo found damaged at the time of transfer by the shipper, must not be accepted, need to be repacked by shipper.

BULK LOADING REQUIREMENT

 

  • Make sure to check Bulk trolley must be clean and serviceable before load any shipment
  • Place large or heavy pieces on the bottom
  • Load light, fragile and perishable pieces on top
  • Pack cargo is tightly as possible to prevent movement, but not to the point where some of the load will be crushed
  • Weight or dimension of cargo should not exceed the aircraft loading limitations
  • Make sure Bulk trolley must be closed properly with shrink wrapper and ULD Tag must be highlighted as per Nature of goods.
